Ann Harden at Somerford Osteopathy

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy assesses the structure and function of the body to allow diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal and medical conditions. Osteopaths use an extensive programme of hands on techniques to improve joint movement, muscle tone, nerve function and circulation, and combine these to help remove barriers to the body’s own healing.

How can we help you?

Osteopaths aim to provide relief from symptoms, usually pain. This may affect any part of the body:

  • neck pain and headaches
  • back pain
  • shoulder, elbow and hand problems
  • knee and foot
  • the pain of arthritis

We also help our patients to improve function: stiffness, flexibility, sporting performance and balanced movement throughout the body.
